No. A recorder gives you back audio you still have to organize yourself. ThoughtDump does the organizing — it decides what kind of thing you said and where it belongs, and asks you when it genuinely isn’t sure.

Content is private by default; systems and providers process it to operate ThoughtDump. You control optional sharing and exports. Read more in Help.
Yes. New accounts receive seven days of full access from account creation, with no credit card or daily Dump quota. Read more in Help.
Existing content remains readable, manually editable and organizable, and exportable. New recording/processing, Hands-Free, AI voice correction, and generated speech require access. Normal seven-day audio cleanup continues. Read more in Help.

Yes. Dump Review provides clipboard/plain text; Project detail provides Copy Markdown and Markdown/JSON/ICS; Calendar provides single-Event Google/Outlook handoffs and ICS for multiple Events. Exports remain available after access ends. Handoffs are not sync. Read more in Help.
Yes. Speak and make follow-ups while the app is open and active, with text responses and optional spoken replies. Access is required. Read more in Help.
Optional Family Sharing exposes selected Event title/time only, not bodies, transcripts, private Events, Projects, or connected calendars. It is not collaborative editing or a family subscription. Read more in Help.
Sign in with the exact invited email and check Settings → Family. An invitation email is attempted, but acceptance in the app does not depend on it arriving. Read more in Help.
