Terms

Terms of Service.

These are the terms ThoughtDump, a product of GS Optimal Solutions, operates under.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

01

Acceptance

By creating a ThoughtDump account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use ThoughtDump.

02

Account use and eligibility

You are responsible for your account and the activity under it. Keep your sign-in details secure. Family Sharing connects separate accounts and does not require sharing a password.

03

Service description and availability

ThoughtDump captures voice recordings, transcribes them, and organizes information into Tasks, Notes, Ideas, Events, and Projects. Features require compatible devices and network access. Features may change, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

04

Your content, your ownership

You own the thoughts and content you put into ThoughtDump. Using the service does not transfer ownership of your content to GS Optimal Solutions. You grant us only the limited license needed to process, store, and display your content back to you in order to run the product. We do not sell your content and do not use it for targeted advertising.

05

AI and transcription limitations

ThoughtDump uses automated transcription and AI organization, which can misunderstand words, dates, times, or which Project something belongs to. Review behavior is designed to reduce this risk, but you remain responsible for checking anything important before relying on it.

06

Reminders and notifications are a convenience

Email and push reminders are best-effort convenience features, not a guaranteed-delivery system. Don’t rely on ThoughtDump as the sole system for anything safety-critical, medical, or time-sensitive in a way that requires guaranteed delivery.

07

Third-party integrations

Optional integrations are governed by their providers’ own terms once each integration is enabled and you choose to connect it. We’re not responsible for those providers’ availability or behavior.

08

Trial and existing information

New accounts receive 7 days of full access from account creation, without a credit card or daily Dump quota. ThoughtDump manages this period; Stripe does not provide a second trial. Existing content remains readable, manually editable and organizable, and exportable. New recording/processing, Hands-Free, AI voice correction, and generated speech require access.

09

Subscriptions and billing

ThoughtDump is $9.99/month or $89/year in US dollars, with the same product features. Stripe processes payments, and subscriptions renew at the selected interval until canceled. Subscription and billing management are available through your signed-in ThoughtDump account. Creating an account or selecting a plan on this website does not charge you or activate paid access; payment must be deliberately completed and verified through Stripe Checkout.

10

Cancellation and payment recovery

You may cancel to stop future renewal. Paid access continues through the applicable already-paid period; when access ends, new recording/processing, Hands-Free, AI voice correction, and generated speech require renewed access. Cancellation does not delete your account or existing text; normal audio cleanup continues. Payment issues may require authentication or recovery; a single failed charge does not permanently delete an account or its contents. Contact support for help.

11

Refunds and billing disputes

ThoughtDump includes a 7-day no-card trial so you can try the full product before paying. Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once processed, and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time after cancellation. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged more than once, or have another billing problem, contact support@thoughtdump.io. We will investigate and correct verified billing errors. Refunds required by applicable law will be honored.

12

Billing assistance

For accidental charges or exceptional circumstances, contact Support so we can review the situation under this policy.

13

Acceptable use

Don't use ThoughtDump to store or transmit unlawful content, or to attempt to access another user's account or data.

14

Export and portability

ThoughtDump provides export tools (plain text, Markdown, JSON, and calendar/ICS export) so your data stays usable outside the product. You shouldn’t need to remain subscribed to retrieve or understand your own information — see Exporting your data for what’s exportable today. Once content is exported to an external destination (for example, a calendar provider), that destination’s own terms apply to it there.

15

Account inactivity

ThoughtDump does not currently have an automated policy for warning or cleaning up inactive accounts. If one is introduced, it will be designed to notify you by email first and give you a real opportunity to log in and export your content before anything is removed; this section will be updated with exact timing once that policy is locked in.

16

Account termination and deletion

Request account deletion from Settings or contact support@thoughtdump.io. The Settings action opens an email request; deletion is handled by support. It is separate from cancellation or trial expiry. Export anything you want to keep before requesting deletion. GS Optimal Solutions may suspend or terminate accounts that violate acceptable use.

17

Warranty disclaimer

ThoughtDump is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available.’ To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at every moment. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

18

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThoughtDump and GS Optimal Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to ThoughtDump will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to ThoughtDump during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

19

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.

20

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes relating to these Terms or ThoughtDump will be handled in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in North Dakota. Nothing in this section prevents either party from using an eligible small-claims court.
