Canceling

Canceling your subscription

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal and keeps paid access through the applicable period you already paid for. Open Settings → Billing → Manage billing to manage your subscription. For assistance, contact Support.

  • You keep full paid access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
  • Existing content remains readable, manually editable and organizable, and exportable. New recording/processing, Hands-Free, AI voice correction, and generated speech require access.
  • Your account and existing data remain accessible — you can still log in.
  • Your existing thoughts remain manually editable, organizable, and exportable. Normal seven-day audio retention continues.

Canceling ThoughtDump doesn't delete your existing thoughts. You can return to your account any time to review and export them. If our long-term retention policy ever changes, we'll give users advance notice and time to export their data first. Canceling is not account deletion — see Deleting your account for that separate, intentional action. For refund eligibility, see Refunds & Billing Disputes.
