Brain dump app
A brain dump app you can just talk to
ThoughtDump is a voice-first brain dump app. Say everything on your mind in one go (errands, plans, appointments, half-finished ideas), then come back later to find it sorted into tasks, notes, ideas, events, and projects.
No card required. Cancel anytime.
An end-of-day brain dump
You say: “Okay, end of the day. I need to renew the car registration. Mom’s birthday dinner is on the 14th. For the garage project, we still need shelves. Idea for the yard sale: price everything at a dollar. And remember, the cabin Wi-Fi password is on the fridge.”
Illustrative example. Results depend on what you say. Uncertain dates, meaning, or Project choices go to Needs Review.
Get it out of your head quickly
A brain dump only works if it’s fast. Typing slows you down and makes you edit while you think. With ThoughtDump you talk: one thought or twenty, in whatever order they come. Use Long form for a longer dump; it runs until you stop it, within the app’s recording size limit.
Don’t organize while you think
Sorting is a separate job, and ThoughtDump does it after you stop talking. It transcribes the recording, separates each thought, decides what kind of thing it is, and suggests a Project for related items. You don’t label anything while you speak.
Come back when you’re ready
Your dump turns into lists you can use: Tasks you can check off, filtered by Today and This Week; Events on a Calendar; Notes to look back on; and Ideas you can search later. Anything uncertain waits in Needs Review until you decide. If you’d rather talk it through, Hands-Free Mode handles spoken follow-ups like “make that 6:30” or “actually, that’s an idea” while the app is open.
