Set up Event reminders

In Settings, choose the reminder master switch and email/browser push setup. Account defaults apply unless an Event uses custom settings or Off. The master switch takes priority over per-Event settings.

Exact-time Events support one-day and one-hour reminders. Date-only Events support a one-day reminder at 9:00 AM local time on the preceding day, with no one-hour reminder. Events awaiting review must be reviewed before becoming eligible. These are Event reminders, not Task reminders or SMS.

If a reminder is missing, check the master switch, the Event’s settings and review state, browser/operating-system notification permission, and push setup messages. Push may be unsupported, blocked, or unconfigured. Some devices require home-screen installation for push support; installation alone does not establish delivery reliability.

Delivery is best effort and depends on scheduler operation, email/push services, permissions, and device support. ThoughtDump cannot override device settings. Email support for help; these checks are optional steps to try while waiting.

Daily Brief

Opt in from Settings, which captures your browser timezone. Use Preview today’s Daily Brief to see the content, and turn it off in Settings whenever you like.

The brief includes overdue and due-today open Tasks, today’s own Events, Items and preserved captures awaiting review, and up to three recently active Projects. An empty day can show that there is nothing needing attention in these categories. It does not aggregate external or Family calendars.

The delivery target is one brief per local date during 7–11 AM, with bounded retries. This does not promise exactly 7 AM or verified delivery. Scheduling, the stored timezone, email delivery services, and account settings affect whether and when it arrives.
