Connect Google Calendar
Current status: Google and Microsoft calendar connection flows are implemented, but Production configuration remains externally blocked. Live connections have not been verified. Connection-free calendar exports are a separate option.
Provider application/OAuth setup, callbacks, and encrypted token storage must be ready. No particular missing configuration value has been verified here.
If connections become available after configuration and verification, use these setup steps:
- Open ThoughtDump Settings.
- Open Calendar connections.
- Select Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in to Google.
- Review the Calendar permissions Google asks you to approve.
- Approve.
- You're returned to ThoughtDump.
- Choose which Google calendars should appear in ThoughtDump.
- Choose a default destination calendar, if you want one.
- Save.
Once connected, events from your chosen Google calendars can appear inside ThoughtDump, and ThoughtDump Events you choose to share can be sent out to Google. Nothing on your Google Calendar automatically becomes a ThoughtDump Dump, Task, or Note — only Events are involved. You can disconnect, reconnect, or refresh the connection from the same Calendar connections screen at any time — disconnecting only removes ThoughtDump's access; nothing in Google Calendar itself is deleted. See What calendar sync means for how conflicts are handled.
