Inviting someone to your Family

The invitation will be waiting for them in ThoughtDump. Here's how it works:

1. Open ThoughtDump.
2. Go to Settings → Family.
3. Create or open your household.
4. Enter the family member's ThoughtDump account email.
5. Select Invite.
6. ThoughtDump prepares the invitation — you'll see "Invite ready — waiting for them to accept in ThoughtDump."
7. The invited person signs in using that same email.
8. They open Settings → Family.
9. They select Accept (or Decline).

The invitation is available in Settings → Family when they sign in with the invited email. ThoughtDump also attempts to send an invitation email; they can accept in the app even if that email does not arrive.

If they don't have a ThoughtDump account yet: have them create a ThoughtDump account or sign in using the exact same email address you invited, then check Settings → Family.

Family Sharing shares selected Event title/time only, not bodies, transcripts, private Events, Projects, or connected calendars. It is neither collaborative editing nor a family subscription. Leaving or removal ends shared access without deleting personal content.
