Using ThoughtDump

Correcting ThoughtDump

If ThoughtDump gets something wrong — the wrong date, the wrong wording, the wrong Project — you can correct it by speaking a short correction or by typing directly. Correcting an item does not change the original recording or transcript. Voice corrections show a preview for you to approve; typed editing and reclassification are also available. Recordings remain subject to the seven-day audio-retention policy.

Correct an Item by voice

Open the Item-level voice correction control, speak the change, then accept the proposed changes or cancel them. Voice correction requires access. Check the time and timezone context when using relative dates such as “tomorrow”; clarify ambiguous timing before confirming. Accepted corrections do not rewrite the source recording or transcript.
